{YTS} Fixing Windows Installation Problems With Dependency Services

If you’re experiencing problems during the Windows installation process, including dependency services failing to install or not installing at all, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you resolve the issue:

Step 1: Ensure dependencies are installed

Check if any required dependencies have been installed:

– For .NET Framework 2.0 and later versions, ensure that .NET Framework is installed on your system.

– If you’re using a different version of Windows, check the System Properties (Windows > Control Panel > System) to see which dependencies are missing.

Step 2: Disable Automatic Updates

Open Settings (Windows + I):

Click on „Update & Security”:

Click on „Windows Update” in the left menu.

Make sure „Automatic updates” is turned off for a short period:

– Go to Settings > Update & Security

– Click on „Advanced options”

– In the System Services section, toggle off „Windows Update”

– Click „OK”

Step 3: Disable Automatic Repair

Open Settings (Windows + I):

Click on „Update & Security”:

Click on „Troubleshoot” in the left menu.

Click on „All settings”.

Scroll down to „Advanced options” and toggle off „Automatic repair”.

Step 4: Disable Windows Installer

Open Settings (Windows + I):

Click on „Update & Security”:

Click on „Windows Update” in the left menu.

Click on „Troubleshoot” in the left menu.

Click on „All settings”.

Step 6: Reinstall .NET Framework

If you’re using a 64-bit version of Windows, open Control Panel.

Click on „Programs and Features” or „Turn Windows features on or off”.

In the list of installed programs, find .NET Framework and check its box.

Click „Change” or „Apply” to install it.

Step 7: Run DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management)

Open Command Prompt as Administrator:

Type dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth (without quotes) and press Enter.

Step 8: Reinstall Windows

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may need to reinstall Windows:

Download the Windows installation media from Microsoft.

Follow the instructions in the media to install a new copy of Windows.
